Shutter Speed Assignment

Here are some more images I took for the shutter speed assignment we were given. I think that some interesting effects were created in some of the images which works really well. All these pictures were took using shutter speeds below 1/20th of a second. These images look better quality if you click on them to make them bigger.

f4.9
1/2

f6
1/5

I really like in this image how some of the lights look like there 3D because of the way the camera has captured them.

f6
1/10

In this image I used an aperture of f8.9 and shutter speed of 1/2 I really like how the camera has captured the flames and how you can see different layers of the flame itself.

In these pictures I used an aperture of f9.7 and shutter speed of 1/13, I really like the effect using these has given on the water, instead of completely freezing the water in motion you can still see a bit of movement in it which gives a really nice effect.

f9.7
1/15

For these images I used an aperture of f10 and shutter speed of 1.3". I really like all the effects the lights have given off in these pictures and think the compositions work really well.

In this final image I used am aperture of f10.3 and shutter speed of 1.3". In this image I really like all the different coloured lights and all the interesting shapes they make.
