When I took these images I took them focusing on part of a series of objects to create a sense of preference. I did this by experimenting on all types of different objects so I could see the different types of outcomes and which worked best. The pictures look better quality if you click on them to see them full size.
In nearly all of these pictures I have tried focusing on the middle object and had the further away and closer objects more not in focus.

In this image I used an aperture of f4.9 and a shutter speed of 1/100. I really like the angle this picture is took at and how it focuses on those main three keys in the middle.

Here I used an aperture of f4.9 and shutter speed of 1/640. I like this image because you can see what the main focus is but then it looks like the glasses just keep going and are never ending going off the edge of the picture.
This is one of my favourite images out of this selection, I love the composition of it and how its been captured within the image. For this I used an aperture of f6.6 and shutter speed of 1/800.

In this image I used an aperture of f6.6 and shutter speed of 1/6. In this image I like all the different textures and how you can really see them on the focused main tea bag, I also like how the main tea bag is not centred and slightly off to the right of the image.

Doing these images helped me understand about depth of field more, especially shallow depth of field.
