Studio Shoot- Product 2 (Final image)

This is the final image I decided to use for my second product picture. I feel like this image works really well to advertise and promote the shoe and product brand. I like the way the lighting gives a dramatic effect to the image and also how you can see all the sharp lines and curves of the shoe, and how it looks perfect which would make you want to buy it. I feel like this image has served its purpose and advertises the product really well and looking at the image would make people want to buy it.

This is my final image, I added onto it the Jimmy Choo logo to make it look more authentic and to make it look more like an advertisement. I really like how its completely focused on the shoe with no distractions and how the lighting really makes it stand out. I am really happy with how this image turned out and I think that it works really well for my brief and I am happy with the final outcome.

Studio Shoot- Product 2

For my second product image I decided to take pictures of the well known brand of shoes Jimmy Choo. In this shoot I used x2 Bowens 750w lights, Small softbox, Snoot, Tripod, Portable light table and my own Nikon D3100 camera. When doing this I started off using the light with a softbox it did make the shoes look nice and stand out but was to bright for what I wanted so then I used a snoot on the light and this gave me the effect I wanted. I also had a quick go at using a coloured gel on the light but I didn't like the effect it gave so went back to just using the snoot. By just using the snoot instead of the softbox I really like the dramatic effect it has given to the image and how you really focus on the shoe itself. Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot. To see them better quality click on them to see them bigger.

I really like how these images turned out, and how the lighting created the effect I wanted I also like how in all of the images you can see the curves of the shoe and how sharp the curves and lines of the shoe are. Some of these images are quite similar but have slight changes, I was happy how my shoot turned out and enjoyed doing it.

Studio Shoot- Product 1 (Final Image)

This is the final image I decided to use for my first product picture I feel like the composition works really well and using the coloured gel on the lighting helped create the kind of image I wanted. I like the way you can see all the product and how the soft lighting creates a certain mood. I feel like this image advertises the product very well and would make people want to buy it.

This is my final image, I added the Hugo Boss logo to make it look more like one of there advertisements. I think putting the logo there adds to the image and makes it look authentic. Also I think the orange/ yellow background lighting compliments the colours of the logo itself. I am really happy with how this image turned out and I think that it works really well for my brief and I am happy with the final outcome.

Studio Shoot- Product 1

For my first product I decided to take pictures of a Hugo Boss perfume advertising the perfume and brand. In this shoot I used x2 Bowens 750w lights, Small softbox, Coloured gels, Snoot, Tripod, Reflector, Portable light table and my Nikon D3100 camera. I also brought with me a flower that I thought would add to the image. When doing this I first started out with no coloured gels over the light and snoot but really didn't like how the light was on the images so then I added an orange gel over the top on the light and snoot and really liked the effect it gave my images. At first it was quite hard getting the light into the right place so I had to move it around a lot but finally I got it into the right position and it created the effect I wanted. Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot. To see them better quality click on them to view them bigger.

Looking at these images most look quite similar but only have slight changes to them, I really like the setup of the perfume and flower and the effect the coloured gel gave to the image.
