Studio Shoot- Portrait

This week I had my first studio shoot, I was nervous but excited to get into the studio and start taking my pictures. I felt confident using the equipment because I remembered quite a lot of things we learnt from the lighting workshop we did. I had a three hour slot to take my images that I needed. I used Mike as my model because I thought he would work well with what kind of picture I was trying to create. For this shoot I was advertising a hair gel product and I think that I captured my brief really well. While doing my shoot I used x2 Bowens 750w lights, Softbox, Tripod, x2 Stands and weights, Trigger, Filter and my own Nikon D3100 camera. Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot. In all these images I really liked the lighting I used it gave quite a dramatic effect but one where you could also still see the main focus which one the hair. To see them better quality click to see them bigger.

These next few images are some of my favourites from the shoot.
